Madi was born in Dayton, Ohio, but moved to Buffalo, New York for her schooling.  Once settled in Buffalo, Madi began twirling baton and singing in church choir.  On a trip to Toronto with her family, she saw her first Broadway show: The Lion King. Her parents bought her the cast recording, and she was hooked.  Since that moment, Madi has taken dance, voice, and acting lessons, preparing to be a professional musical theatre performer.  She is now a senior at Kent State University, graduating in May 2015 with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in business.  Madi has been seen in many productions throughout Ohio, West Virginia, Western New York, and Texas.
